Veliaj threatens judges and prosecutors from prison

The mayor of Tirana, under indefinite detention by the Criminal Court, has worsened his situation before justice with his latest post.

This sentence is enough to understand that Veliaj, after many days of insults for which he is punished by the Criminal Code, has today turned to threats.

Veliaj writes, "They probably thought that by locking me up without a trial, they would shut me up, and they didn't mean it badly, because that's what Saliu did when he was scolding his fellow doctors in internment. But, this "colleague" of mine, Ols Angoni, has no idea who he's messing with, even though he calls himself Bruce Willis the beast and shows off his muscles to those BKH soldiers (now come on Bruce, give it to me, add this to the threats I've made to your skull wrapped in a sock)."

These sentences uttered by the mayor are a direct threat to the judge and prosecutors. In the Veliaj case, the prosecutors are Altin Dumani (whom Veliaj is afraid to mention by name) and Ols Dado, while the judge is Erion Bani.

With the above threatening and insulting words, according to the criminal code, EWrion Veliaj aggravates his situation before the courts by risking an additional prison sentence of up to 3 years.

Veliaj's insults towards prosecutors and judges are daily, speaking with the language of a thug who shamefully held the mayor's chair.

While for the continuous insults and threats he makes against the judge and prosecutors, Veliaj could receive an additional sentence of up to three months, but the fact is that the mayor of Tirana insults and threatens justice officials from prison, what happens to the witnesses in the case? / CNA
