Prime Minister Edi Rama today once again called on private businesses to increase the salaries of employees.

During his speech at the Business Climate Forum, Rama said that the country is at an important turning point and private businesses must follow the public sector.

He emphasized that the enterprise cannot do business with free labor.

"I want to start with the aspect of wages and with the need to reiterate the necessity that this is a critical moment for the Europe of which we are a part, and for our country which is no exception to the rest and is in a race that has just begun . It is a war for labor that we must face, and the disastrous effects of which we must survive the path our economy has taken. It is at a very important turning point.

 We have significantly increased salaries in the public sector, which we have not had before, and this increase we are convinced will have positive effects, but we hope that its effect will also have an effect on the salary increase in private. Today, business feels it, with everyone it talks to and listens to, there is a shortage of insufficient human capital. Tomorrow the enterprise should not come to the point, like the master whose donkey died when he taught it not to eat.
