The commanding chairman of the DP, Enkelejd Alibeaj, continues his attacks on former prime minister Sali Berisha.

According to Alibeaj, the main responsible for the division of the DP and the losses in the 2021 elections is Berisha.

He stated that Berisha is now a burden that they have to carry on their shoulders as Albanians do not forget.

"I won't take long. Maybe today is hard and I know it. Yes, today we have some allies. And I am saying who the allies are: they are the honest people, the working people. There are many who do not go to vote, we have seen them, they do not go to vote, neither Rama, nor Berisha, nor Metaj. We used to say: why don't these Albanians come to vote for us? Even in 2021, even though we did not win, many Albanians did not come to vote for us.

They were not with the government, but they did not come to vote for us either. And the question is: why didn't they come to vote for us either. Because they remembered their faces. Of Sali Berisha once in 2013 when we fell from power with 1 million votes. And Albanians do not forget. Now this burden that we had on our shoulders, we no longer have.

Secondly, our allies are with that party, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the Americans, are with that party in Albania which has no shadow of corruption with it. With Rama? What about Rama, do you remember what the representative told the government 10 days ago? Said I'm not talking about the McGonigal case, that there's a criminal investigation. Well, there is a criminal investigation, which means Rama is also involved. And I have no connection at all, he said, even with non gratas. The only ones who do not have any kind of problem, neither with corruption nor with justice, is this Democratic Party where we are all here.

That advice that seems like it doesn't matter.
