The candidate of the SP for the Municipality of Shkodra, Benet Beci, has published 3D images of the project of the entrance to the city of Shkodra.

According to him, the harbor will have a dimension of 60 by 20 meters and a floating platform that creates access for vessels and is connected to the shore with an elegant pedestrian bridge.

The port at the Buna Bridge

For centuries, the banks of Buna on both sides of the river, in the area where the Buna bridge is now located, have been an area that hosted dozens of ships loading and unloading goods or fish from Buna and Lake. Nearby were boat building and repair shops, boats that were famous for their beautiful shapes and stylish silhouettes.

The construction of the port and the navigation museum creates two intertwined elements that bring attention to one of the elements that have made Shkodra an important economic center in the region.

The port has a dimension of 60 by 20 meters. It has a floating platform that creates easy access for watercraft and is connected to the shore by an elegant footbridge.

The port will allow the anchoring and sailing of boats and ferries to Shiroka and Zogaj (whose piers are being completed) and soon to other piers and the port of VirPazar on the Montenegrin part of the lake. The port will serve for trips to and from the Buna River after the necessary studies and interventions are carried out to make it navigable.

Shkodër Municipality, in cooperation with interested tourist operators, will make possible a periodic cruise line during the tourist season from Shkodra to Shiroka and Zogaj. We will make every effort to have the most ecological model transport on the Lake.
