Prime Minister Edi Rama has asked businesses to raise wages, as the moment the country is in is critical.
He said that all European countries are at a critical moment as the alarm is being raised about the lack of workers.
Rama said that the government has measured its steps very well by moving slowly in the process of salary increase.
The Prime Minister stated that Albania had the lowest salaries in the region and now ranks third.
He said that without the average salary going to 60,000 ALL, he cannot sleep.
He told me he called on tour operators not to declare minimum wage workers.
"I call on businesses to follow the example of the best and continue to raise wages because the moment is very critical. All the countries of Europe are in a difficult moment. There is growing alarm about the non-fulfillment of jobs with labor, since there are no more in Germany", said Rama. / CNA.al
