Rama announces the next action: Plan for the revival of tourism, less

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that a new national action will soon be launched, this time in the field of tourism.

In an interview on the "Opinion" show, Rama said that the new plan aims for a renaissance of tourism, which is intended to be achieved by reducing the intensity of construction in coastal areas, for more income in this sector and less damage to nature.

 "What we will do now is that, as started with the Urban Renaissance, we will continue with developments for tourism, with an emphasis on preserving certain parts that could be natural parks. As long as I am in office, we will only make three interventions in Porto Palermo, among which a war museum will be built, but without adding resorts and villas. Very soon we will come up with concrete things about how it will be operated later. Everything comes in phases. The first phase was Golemi. At that time it was a very exclusive thing. Today it belongs to the past. But these are not 'Albania 2030'. We will reduce the intensity of construction in coastal areas, we will be very careful. They will be interventions for Albania with more income and less damage", said Rama. /CNA
