Rama is firm: We will draft normative acts for the occupation of public spaces

Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that the areas around a palace are shared and there cannot be any placement of umbrellas, chairs or tents.

He emphasized that there can be no private sidewalks.

He stated that work is being done on this and that normative acts will need to be made very soon.

"There is no private property around a palace. As is the scale of the palace, as are the common areas, the environment around the palace is common."

There can be no private sidewalks, let alone terrible practices like those of placing chairs, tents, and awnings and then requesting legalization, as in the scandalous cases on the Lungomare.

"We will make a reform on this topic, we are working very quickly every day and we will have to make normative acts. We will put those 83 votes at the service of the citizens," Rama declared./ CNA
