Starting Monday / Trading of dairy products without a receipt is prohibited

Starting this Monday, dairy products in the country will not be able to be traded without an invoice.

The ultimatum was announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama two days ago.

Rama's statement was made in his speech during a meeting held on Friday with the country's mayors.

Rama said that starting next week, any form of dairy trading without an invoice will be confiscated.

Rama emphasized that in addition to the problem from the tax law point of view, this type of marketing of dairy products poses a risk to the health of consumers, due to high summer temperatures.

"I want to bring to your attention the fact that the General Directorate of Taxes is committed to sensitizing all those who trade milk and dairy products without an invoice, so that they no longer do this. Because starting next week, any type of milk bottle without an invoice will be confiscated and any type of dairy product without an invoice is intolerable from the point of view of tax law, it is also very dangerous at this stage of the year with these temperatures that can cause poisoning that is completely avoidable. Starting next Monday, there will be no more warnings but only seizures of any type of dairy product without an invoice", said Rama. /CNA
