Rama: Dairy products without invoices will be confiscated from next week

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech during this Friday's meeting with the country's mayors, among other things, focused on the dairy trade.

Rama said that starting next week, any form of dairy trading without an invoice will be confiscated.

Rama said that in addition to the problem from the tax law perspective, this type of trading also poses a health risk in these high seasonal temperatures.

"Before we close, I would like to bring to your attention the fact that the General Directorate of Taxes is committed to sensitizing all those who trade milk and dairy products without an invoice, so that they no longer do this. Because starting next week, any type of milk bottle without an invoice will be confiscated and any type of dairy product without an invoice is intolerable from the point of view of tax law, it is also very dangerous at this stage of the year with these temperatures that can cause poisoning that is completely avoidable. Starting next Monday, there will be no more warnings but only seizures of any type of dairy product without an invoice", said Rama. /CNA
