Rama admits the failure of incinerators?!/ We need a National Corporation

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting with the heads of municipalities in Durrës, listed all the problems, starting with the municipalities, municipal police, water, illegal construction, occupation of public spaces, construction sites, fires, etc., openly expressing criticism of mismanagement by the municipalities and structures under their control.

Among other things, the prime minister also seems to have acknowledged the failure of the incinerators.

He stated that based on the lessons learned regarding waste issues in three municipalities, a National Corporation should be created to deal with the waste treatment system.  

"Based on the lessons learned from what happened with waste in three municipalities, beyond all the benefits, due to the problems associated with various reasons, we need a National Corporation to deal with the entire waste treatment system," said Rama.

With this statement, Rama admits that incinerators are a failure, as they should have dealt with waste treatment, while today he states that a National Corporation is needed to deal with the entire waste treatment system.

As is already known, in Elbasan we have an oil boiler that costs millions of euros to light, in Fier we have an incinerator that does not function and has not been completed, while in Tirana we only have a mountain of garbage, since the incinerator for which Albanians, the government and businesses have paid hundreds of millions of euros simply does not exist.
