Candidate leaves it with his finger in his mouth, Lapaj may risk his mandate

The candidate of the "Nisma Thurje" on the closed list in Tirana, Zeqir Kordhoni, has filed a request with the CEC to familiarize himself with the resignation letter that the coalition submitted on his behalf before the May 11 elections.

According to reports, Kordhoni has stated that he does not remember signing a document stating that he is giving up the mandate he won.

Candidate Kordhoni further stated that in principle before the elections he had not agreed to resign from his mandate in the event of victory.

Thus, in this way, Lapaj risks the only mandate he has won, as Kordhoni has clearly stated that he does not remember signing to relinquish his mandate.

On the other hand, Lapaj, contacted by the media, stated that he has no information regarding this request from Kordhoni and that he should also talk to Endrit Shabanin about this./ CNA
