Issues/ Rama: An internal administrative reform is needed in the Municipality of Tirana

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting with the political leaders of the regions, stated that an administrative and service reform is needed in the Municipality of Tirana.

He stated that working groups have been established and all will be discussed with the municipality structure.

The Prime Minister emphasized the water service, stating that it must be moved to another phase.

He expressed the need for the creation of a water distribution operator similar to the energy distribution operator.  

"We have set up working groups to assist the municipality in an internal administrative and service reform. These will be further discussed by the members of the working groups with the municipality's structures. I emphasize that we need to move to another phase in the water service and we need to create a water distribution operator. We need a national water enterprise," said Rama./ CNA
