Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a conversation at a youth camp, also spoke extensively about the recent discussions about the algorithm.

"The fact is that today we live in a time when the level of attention to what we see and read has dropped extremely compared to before. This is related to the significant presence of the virtual world in our world through screens, where everyone spends a good part of their time without realizing it. Nuances are the first victims of any communication. The algorithm has a major role in determining the color of our lives, as long as we are connected to the virtual one. This does not mean that the algorithm comes to us with its own ideas or that it determines the reason why we do an action. But it is an amplifier of anger, dissatisfaction, everything that tends to lead to scandal, surprise for the worse. It is also related to human nature, it is everywhere. There are endless studies that have been done on algorithms and it turns out that lies, accusations, scandals that go towards amplifying negative energy have a much wider reach on social channels than the truth and the news that is making a fuss.
