Helped a citizen break arrest/Police officer ends up in handcuffs

The Police Supervision Agency, Kukës-Dibar Regional Directorate, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibar and in the presence of the available prosecutor, has arrested in flagrante delicto the State Police employee, Megin Gani Ademi, 32 years old, Specialist for Crime Investigation at the Dibar Police Station.

This employee has been placed under arrest for the criminal offense of "Abuse of office", provided for by Article 248 of the Criminal Code.

The investigations conducted have resulted in the police officer allegedly failing to carry out investigative and procedural actions regarding the removal of citizen Amir Muaremi, who was under the security measure of "house arrest" and in the process of extradition to the Federal Republic of Germany.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor 's Office for further action./CNA
