Police react to murder in Shkodra/ Identities of victim and perpetrator revealed

A serious incident occurred today in the "Mark Lula" neighborhood in Shkodra, where a man shot and killed his wife.

The victim is citizen BZ, about 55 years old, while the perpetrator is 62-year-old SH.Z., who was escorted to the police station.

It is reported that the firearm with which the crime was allegedly committed has also been seized. Meanwhile, the motives for the serious crime are still unknown.

At around 1:30 PM, in the "Mark Lula" neighborhood, it is suspected that for weak motives, citizen Sh. Z., 62 years old, shot and killed his wife, citizen BZ, around 55 years old.  

Police services immediately went to the scene and arrested the suspected perpetrator, citizen Sh. Z., who was escorted to the Police Station for procedural actions.

Police services have also seized the firearm with which the crime was allegedly committed. 

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify and document the circumstances of the incident. /CNA
