The head of the Department of Infrastructure in DP, Besnik Dervishi, has made a call to the citizens, regarding the July 11 protest.

Dervishi said that this protest is also a platform for citizens to raise their voice, their public confrontation with Prime Minister Edi Rama for broken promises and failures in governance.

He counted the broken promises and abuses of the government, as he invited the citizens to go to the protest.

The opposition has called a national protest on July 11, against the injustices, violations, thefts and arrogance of the Rilindash government.

This protest is also a platform for citizens to raise their voice, their public confrontation with Edi Rama for broken promises and failures in governance.

There are many such, especially in infrastructure and urban development. Below we list only some of them:

-Non-completion of the promised roads for the umpteenth time, with completion deadlines, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, until 2023, as; Tirana Ring Road, Qukës-Qafe-Plloçë Road, Arbri Street.

- The non-completion of the Durrës-Tirana railway, started 8 years ago (the tendering process lasted 5 years), promised several times to be completed and most recently promised for 2023.

-Closing the airport in Kukës, promised for international flights and which would employ the residents of Kukës.

- As a result of the corrupt PPP for the relocation of the Port to Durrës, we risk being left without a cargo port.

- No supply of drinking water 24 hours, promised several times in every electoral campaign, since 2013.

-In the field of telecommunications, in 2013 PD left the mobile phone market with 4 operators, today it is stuck with 2 operators, monopolizing this market and bringing as a result the lack of competition, increase in tariffs and damage to consumers.

-Urban Albania under the renaissance occupation turned into the Republic of Facades. 2.5 billion euros of Albanians were wasted in painting the front facades of buildings in the city centers.

-Rama degenerated the post of the Prime Minister into the Mayor of the Republic. For 12 years, he has ignored all the duties and responsibilities of the Prime Minister and is governing Albania together with his 81 local directors (mayors) and central directors (ministers), focusing on the urban issues of the country's cities. The product of this approach is the final shooting of the Local Level of Government, Democracy and Local Autonomy.

-Rama converted himself into the Chief Architect of the Republic. Albania is the only country in the world where the Prime Minister issues building permits. As the creator of the Construction Mafia in the 2000s in Tirana, Rama has been using the position of Prime Minister for 12 years to supply his clients with building permits even from the position of Prime Minister.

-Rama and Veliaj turned construction into the first economic sector of the country. After more than 1000 towers and palaces built during the time when Rama led the Municipality of Tirana, 10 million square meters of construction in the last 8 years have finally destroyed the possibility of Tirana being a livable city.

Who finds himself in this reality should join the opposition protest on Thursday at 20:00. This is a battle not for power, but for the return of the country to normality. Only united in battle will we succeed in stopping the depopulation of Albania and saving it./ CNA
