The head of the Department of Education in the DP, Lili Sula from the blue office, called on the citizens to participate in the July 11 protest that will take place in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

Sula accused the Rama government of ruining education. According to him, the government spends only 1000 euros per year, per pupil/student, 15 times less than in OECD countries.

Dear pedagogues, teachers, pupils and students:

In 11 years, Edi Rama, with bad governance and malice, turned schools from centers of knowledge into nests of illegality.

- He deceived teachers and pupils, students and lecturers, for the financing of public education with 5% of the GDP. Today the level of education is only xxx far behind the funding in the PD government. Albania invests below 0.08% of GDP in research, 4-10 times less than some countries of the UN Region.

-15-year-old students were ranked last in the world for creative thinking, after Palestine and Uzbekistan by the international PISA test.

-Indicators of functional illiteracy have worsened, and students' reading skills have gone back in time, in the 2000s. PISA proved that the educational gap between 15-year-old students in rural and urban areas has deepened beyond 2 school years.

- The scandal of the State Matura tests continues - from the release of all theses in the first minutes of the exam, to the serious problems of formulating the tests that penalize the students in the assessment. The complete degradation of Matura is shown by the removal of one optional subject, which has halved the level of in-depth academic training of graduates.

- The government spends per pupil/student only 1000 euros per year, 10-15 times less than in OECD countries.

-Politicization: total control through patron-Nazis of education. Denigration of the figure of the teacher, lack of support, and salary increase. Schools turned into drug distribution points by patronage principals.

-The Law on Higher Education abolished university autonomy and academic freedom

-Education is being abandoned at alarming rates due to depopulation: 60,000 fewer students in universities than 10 years ago; - 110 thousand students less in pre-university education,

- The dramatic flight of brains and intellectuals, similar to African countries, ranks us among the 10 countries in the world with the highest emigration.

- Albanian universities ranked more than 1000 places below those of the region (such as Croatia, Slovenia or Serbia) - according to international rankings

These are just some of the causes that have ruined the education system, which openly declare the abandonment that the party-state has made to education and children.

To stop this de-educational system that today is at the end point, to stop the mass depopulation of Albanians who leave for reasons of survival, the increase in illiteracy, and all the serious diseases that have hampered education - I invite you, especially teachers, pedagogues , pupils and students, like your colleague and your teacher, that on July 11, at 20:00, you join the opposition protest.
