Fatbardh Kadilli, the creator of the new "IDE" party, has revealed the details of how this movement was created and its goals.

Mr. Kadilli what is "iDE"? And what is its purpose?

The Democratic Initiative, with the significant iDE Logo was publicly announced in September 2021.

It was an innovation to create a previously unknown structure in the DP utilizing the statutory spaces. PD was still together, but the crisis had begun.

We had the political clarity to understand and warn that Berisha and Basha would divide and reduce the party. We declared the third way As/As. Because with the Manifesto for the revival of the Democratic Party we had the motto - A Party bigger than the President. A Party bigger than Self.

How will this movement be directed? Will there be a chairman?

This movement has been open and not at all prejudicial to people. We do not believe that the problem is solved by the question WHO? The problem is solved with the question WHAT?

For three years, anyone who wanted to has defended these positions by declaring or not, being recognized or not as a member of iDE. I have been among the most vocal and steadfast in clearly defining myself and iDE with its underlying mottos. We have not had a President. We don't have a President. The movement is energy and the will to bring about change, not a structure of officials.

Who are the people who created this movement?

The number of people who were at the iDE launch in September 2021 was approximately 100. But supporters and sympathizers are many, many more. I was its creator and promoter, but this was the product of conversations and consultations with many colleagues since the catastrophic loss of 2017. In addition to me, Mr. Kaso, Mr. Eat, Mr. Hoxha as a supporter, and young people committed to change such as E. Merko, B. Manaj, etc. Public figures present, Ristani, Bozdo, Muka, local DP director.

Who are the people who have supported this movement by becoming part of it?

iDE is a seed sown in difficult terrain. Of those who were initially part or supporters of iDE, some chose to stay, some chose to try to achieve the goals of iDE, believing in the "reestablishment" of Berisha and some in the change of Basha. Regardless of the paths they chose for how long they have maintained those principles, those clear mottos remain a part of iDE. That's why iDE is different because it invites people to work for what they believe in, not for a career.

From your list some have been supportive from the start, some skeptical. The list of those who I hope will choose the iDE route is much longer and includes feeds from a very wide spectrum.

Are there other deputies with whom we are discussing to become part of this movement, either from the Basha group, or Berisha's PD?

For the advancement of the iDE movement, I have been in permanent communication with every politician who has shown independence and resisted the Presidency. There are MPs from Berisha's group and former Basha's group. Most say that iDE is the only way to rebuild a completely different opposition, an opposition that is the winning alternative. Having said that, I don't want to speculate on who will be part of it, as long as the consultations have not turned into decisions. Decisions are personal.

Will you run with "IDE" in the 2025 elections?

iDE is movement. It must be conceived properly as a movement and those I will join have every right to make the decisions for a political formation. Elections are the natural confrontation of any political formation.

With which parties or "IDE" movements can I make coalitions? And which ones not?
