Prime Minister Edi Rama has today issued a call to all Albanian citizens living in Greece who have registered to vote in the May 11 elections. This reaction of the Prime Minister comes after information that in the neighboring country there have been some problems in this process.

Through a post on social networks, Rama announces that all Albanians living in Athens, Thessaloniki and anywhere in Greece, but not on the islands, from today, Monday, May 5, until Friday, May 9, DHL postal service points will operate with extended hours.

Addressed to compatriots residing on the islands of Greece: 

Due to the company's inability to transport your shipment by plane on time beyond the next 24 hours, the final date to return your envelopes to DHL, SPEEDEX, or Courier Center postal service points is Tuesday, May 6, in order to ensure their return to Albania within the deadline.

Rama calls for the envelopes to be delivered as soon as possible to DHL, SPEEDEX, or Courier Center, so that the vote arrives in Albania on time.

Rama states that the vote is for the European destiny of the nation, for Albania 2030 in the EU, for the red and black European passport in Greece./CNA
