DP candidate for MP, Grigels Muçollari, invited to the show "Kafe Shqeto" on Syri TV, said that their program is understandable by all Albanians, while the SP's is unfeasible.

Muçollari then focused on the situation in the Municipality of Tirana, for which he said that after May 11, the Berisha government will announce early elections.

" We, the candidates of the Democratic Party, have expressed a mea culpa at the moment we came up with such a program, that we talked about social welfare, that we talked about the minimum pension. We talked about the living wage. And in this aspect, this program is super understandable by all citizens. The only game that is being played by the propaganda is that they say that it is unfeasible. And in the meantime, they are putting it in vain. In the meantime, we have shown that it is completely feasible. There are over 8.4 billion euros in the state budget and it does not cost the state anything to continue subsidizing several years in a row the toil and sweat of these pensioners who, after 40 or 50 years of work, have retired. And until the economy and the social security scheme are self-financing, the state budget and society have an obligation for these people who have contributed to this Albania to receive a dignified pension. We are not talking about a pension that will make you live a luxurious life, but about a normal pension. A pension that will give you a little dignity so that you don't have to pick up the phone from the date 15th of the month to ask the children to borrow some money.

"The Municipality of Tirana, I am convinced and I believe I am correct that immediately after May 11 and after the constitution of the new government, Prime Minister Berisha will announce the elections ," said Muçollari./ CNA
