Prime Minister Edi Rama held an election meeting in the city of Lezha this Sunday. In his speech, Rama focused on the parliamentary elections of May 11.

In his meeting with citizens, Rama also mocked the opposition.

According to Rama, Albania is not competing with Germany, but with the region, unlike the comparison made years ago by the democratic government.

Rama said that he kicked most of the Albanians and took them to their homes.

According to Rama, if it hadn't happened like this, the country would have returned to the way it was in 1997.

"We have grown significantly. We do not compete with Germany, I always talk about the region. We competed with Germany, do you remember? Do you remember when we came second after Germany? It was the moment when you intervened and the majority of Albanians intervened, kicking them and taking them home, because they could have stayed there for a while, because they would have put us in a hole, and taken us back to '97," said Rama. /CNA
