Democratic candidate Ivi Kaso, who won a mandate in the May 11 elections, declared today that the action of the Democratic Party and the opposition has two priorities: to reveal a picture of what happened accompanied by facts and evidence, and to request through the institutions that manage the electoral process that appropriate measures be taken for what happened in certain districts.

Invited to A2 CNN, Kaso said that the DP has filed every kind of irregularity related to the preparatory phase, irregularities on election day and the voting and counting process, as well as everything that has happened in the regions in relation to what has been done with the diaspora.

Kaso described the voting process from Greece and Italy as distorted.

"The action of the DP and the opposition after the May 11 election farce has 2 priorities; to reveal a panorama of what happened, accompanied by the facts and evidence that we have collected, some of which we have denounced and some not, but also to request through the institutions that manage the electoral process that appropriate measures be taken for what happened in certain districts. We have been addressed with requests for invalidation and in some cases for a recount of certain votes. We have filed every kind of irregularity related to the preparatory phase, irregularities on election day and the voting and counting process, as well as everything that happened in the districts in relation to what was done with the diaspora. They have brought about an extremely distorted process in the diaspora, especially in Greece and Italy. The irregularities are due to the improper formation of the commissions, which were filled with administration and the population of the voting centers.
