"Citizens believed in the victory of the DP in Dibër"/ Mziu:

The political leader of the Democratic Party in the Dibra region, Xhelal Mziu, said today that illegal instruments were used to manipulate votes in the May 11 elections in this region. In an interview on 'Syri Tv', Mziu said that he still does not believe the result of the DP in Dibra, when a few days before they were held, citizens believed in the party's victory.

Mziu said that violence was used by the administration in this region like never before.

"Despite the fact that there are 3 weeks left before the May 11 elections, I still cannot believe the defeat in the Dibra region. Until 3-4 days before the elections, not only me as a leader, but also every citizen believed in the victory of the DP. We pretended not only to hold the result for 13 days, but to compete worthily in the 4th mandate.

Since Dibra is the first experiment of this government of electoral crime, we managed in the last 4-5 days to change the result and the will of the citizens and to prove a result that is not the full will of the citizens, but the use of illegal instruments for the alienation of votes. Here I bring to your attention that Dibra has been the topic of how votes can be alienated in Albania since the Renaissance. In this district, violence was used like never before by the administration, "said Mziu. /CNA
