After the elections of May 11, the Shkodra Municipal Council reached an agreement and passed the agenda with a majority vote. The PSD ended the boycott and gave the green light to cooperation, among which the most important was granting the right and assigning responsibility for the management, administration and maintenance of manageable public beaches to the joint-stock company owned by the Shkodra Municipality.

PSD member, Rezarta Pode, said that PSD will be in support of the SP.

"PSD has been, is and will always be in support of the Socialist Party. Even though in the May 11 campaign the Social Democratic Party competed alone with its own slogan, continuity must be shared. We emphasize that every good draft decision for Shkodra will receive our support. Also in the 2027 local elections, we will be in support of the PS and the development of our country", said Rezarta Pode, PSD member, Shkodra Municipal Council
