"They knew in January that they would lose the elections"/ Bido: The opposition repeats the same rhetoric since 2001

Socialist Party candidate Ardit Bido, who won the mandate as MP in the Vlora Region, commented today on the situation following the parliamentary elections of May 11. In a television appearance, Bido focused on the result for the opposition, saying that it had been expected since January what would happen.

Bido said that the opposition is repeating the same story and called it old rhetoric heard since 2001.

Bido added that the DP is coming up with an alibi for a defeat that they knew would happen.

"We knew in January what was going to happen. It's a story that is being repeated by the opposition, an old rhetoric that starts with the 'black book', the same one we've heard since 2001. I haven't heard any right-wing friend say that the DP structures thought they would win. Now they are coming up with an alibi for a defeat that they knew about," said Bido. /CNA
