The Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS) rejected the complaints of four Democratic Party candidates on Friday afternoon. The four candidates in question are: Ilir Alimehmeti, Mimoza Hajdarmataj, Lisandër Hoxha and Aulon Kalaja.
The decision was made by a 4-1 vote in the KAS, from which only representative Ilir Rusmali voted in favor of individual candidates having the right to request a recount of their votes.
The KAS dismissed the appeal and ruled that the four candidates are not entitled to appeal for the requests for a recount of their votes on the open list in the May 11 parliamentary elections. /CNA
