The legal representative of the DP, Franc Nuri, shared his comments regarding the processes taking place at the KAS, after the Democratic Party filed complaints regarding the results of votes from the diaspora in the May 11 elections.

In a television appearance on 'Syri TV', Nuri stated that the DP still does not have evidence from the CEC, which has been asked to make available all the diaspora data for Albania.

Nuri said that the CEC and DHL must verify that every vote of a diaspora citizen has gone to the address against the signature.

"We requested a postponement of the session at the CEC and it was accepted, since the CEC had not made available to us the evidence we requested. There were attempts to invalidate KAS, we managed to convince them in favor of extending the deadline. We still do not have evidence from the CEC. We requested the provision of diaspora data for Albania, including Kukës.

The CEC and DHL must verify that every vote of a citizen of the diaspora has gone to the address against the signature. We have requested it for the entire diaspora. But the CEC has given for Greece at the beginning, we have requested the diaspora. I confronted them with the untruths at the session by the CEC. The KAS has tasked the CEC to make the evidence available as soon as possible. The CEC sent a DHL letter on May 28 and told it to bring it quickly, while we made it public weeks ago.
