"The opposition does not have the luxury of division"/ Hasimja: DP

Political scientist Ermal Hasimja was present today at the roundtable organized by the Democratic Party with allies and representatives of civil society.

In his speech, Hasimja focused on several important issues of the current political situation in the country.

Hasimja emphasized that the opposition does not have the luxury of avoiding its own ranks nor of internal conflicts, divisions or other discord.

According to Hasime, the Democratic Party must show a higher level of credibility and principle than it has had to date.

"It's easier for me to say this because I'm neither a member of the Democratic Party, nor affiliated in any way. The main problem is the problem of credibility. That is, normally in any normal European country with democracy in the world today, with free and fair elections that we don't have, it would be enough not to have an excellent opposition, but simply a normal opposition, on average, for regimes of this type to be hidden not only from power but also from history. So this is the first source that should be sought, in fact, the opposition is speaking as a whole.

On the other hand, I think that the opposition, and again I always speak of the opposition as a whole, not just the Democratic Party, does not have the luxury of avoiding or creating internal conflicts or any kind of division, discord, etc., except for a few cases like the work of the Marxists of Arlind Qorri, the Joint Movement, that's another story.

We're not talking about that. From my point of view, the biggest thief in the world is more preferable to a communist, a Marxist. Leaving that part aside, it's also debatable. And they can ultimately contribute if they want to, even though we know very well that they don't, nor do they plan to, so it's not worth bothering with that aspect. What happens to the other parts then?

I think that the Democratic Party and other parties should actually get together and discuss, not with drafts, poems and so on, and without the need to address, bring up the problems and discussions. All the problems that we have here, I am also an entrepreneur myself, among other things, we know very well. There is no need to discuss what kind of government this is, we know very well.

Nga ato 150.000 votat që kanë marrë sot partitë e reja dhe të vogla, një pjesë e mirë e atyre votave janë vota që s'do të shkonin kurrë tek e djathta. Te asnjë parti e djathtë. Janë vota që janë marrë në zona si si, ato që PD-ja e quan Stalingrad në fakt, me shumë të drejtë.

Tani, janë vota të cilat nuk do të shkojnë ndonjëherë tek e djathta sepse janë vota të të majtëve të zhgënjyer. Në rastin më të mirë, këta janë njerëz që nuk, thjesht abstenojnë dhe nuk votojnë. Kjo është dhe një arsye tjetër pse në fakt votat e këtyre partive janë të nevojshme. Dhe shumë mirë që dhe ftesa iu bë dhe atyre, dhe unë kam qenë i mendimit që duhet, do të duhet të ishim. Megjithatë mendoj, kjo është thjesht çështje teknike, që në qoftë se ftohen për diskutim dhe për bashkëbisedim, nuk ka nevojë dhe thjesht të bëhen edhe publike. Ndoshta mund të jetë edhe një tryezë diskutimi që mund të bëhet mbi një platformë duke nisur nga ato dy pikat.
