Çollaku: Rama has made criminal cartels with a parliamentary group within

Journalist Basir Çollaku stated today that Prime Minister and Socialist leader Edi Rama has enabled criminal groups and cartels in Albania to have a parliamentary group within the Socialist Party.

Invited to 'Syri TV', Çollaku said that their vote is not controlled by Rama, but by well-known names of criminal groups.

According to the journalist, this parliamentary group has power and has over 10 MPs in Albania.

"This mafia power of Albanian criminal groups is also political power. Why is it power? I have said it and I am convinced of this. For a long time they have produced mandates, the votes of those deputies who have entered parliament from cocaine and heroin and there are many from hashish.

These people who have the mandates, from those parcels, their vote is not controlled by Rama. Their vote is controlled by Çela, Bajrët, Çyrbja, Porja. And when Rama does not agree with them and does not give them what they ask for, because he has actually given them, you have them with hotels, Poja, with Hajri yes, Gjoka, yes, you have quite a few, you have 7-8 of them today from cocaine and drug trafficking, who have strategic investments, they also have political power, because they have votes in the assembly.

And their vote, if Rama needs it, doesn't go where Rama says. If their investors don't allow them to go to the session and vote, they should return the money. Are these candidates able to return the millions of euros that were invested in them, and go to the assembly session to vote, as Rama demands?

Now they are a parliamentary group.

This parliamentary group has power and has over 10 deputies in Albania. Each region has one, this is a decision-making group for the fate of Albania, as far as they go.

"There will also be international companies that will enter this matter, because criminal groups have no experience in legality," Çollaku said. /CNA
