Jamarbër Malltezi has accused the General Prosecutor's Office and the Supreme Court of Kosovo of playing squash in relation to the contract legalized by the vetting of Judge Irena Gjoka's husband and brothers.

According to Malltezi, the General Prosecutor's Office has been allegedly investigating Irena in Greece for 15 months but has not concluded, while the Supreme Court of Justice, which by law has to decide within 15 days, says that confirmation is needed from the General Prosecutor's Office, while the decision has an apostille stamp from the Court of Ioannina.

He called this a total failure of any state office.

"A total failure of every state office: the vetting that legalizes the contract between Irena Gjoka's husband and brothers that cites articles 801-825 of the civil code when at that time the civil code only had 254 articles! The General Prosecutor's Office that has been supposedly investigating Irena in Greece for 15 months but has not concluded. The Supreme Court of Justice that has the law to decide within 15 days but plays the game and says that confirmation from the General Prosecutor's Office is needed while the decision has an apostille stamp from the Court of Ioannina. And the General Prosecutor's Office that expects Ulsi Manja to communicate but that they take it to the Court of Athens instead of Ioannina", said Malltezi./ CNA
