Democratic Party MP Flutura Açka spoke on television about the situation in the party after the May 11 elections.

Açka said that the only thing the DP achieved in the May 11 elections was giving Rama a fourth term.

Further, Açka said that he did not expect the leader of the Democrat Party, Berisha, to withdraw after the results of May 11, but said that he could do the party a favor by leading it to reform.

"The only thing we managed to do was to give Rama another mandate. There is a need for a reflection of all structures. They are putting the DP in a political trap that will harm us in the future. I did not expect Berisha's resignation. The time has come for him to understand that a historic moment has come for the DP and for the Statute to be respected. Berisha to do one last favor for the DP, to lead it to reform ," said Açka./ CNA
