DP leader Sali Berisha today denounced that Prime Minister Edi Rama has granted permission for 29,300 hectares of cannabis worth 10 billion euros in the election year.

According to Berisha, Edi Rama used all means, including licenses to plant 29,300 hectares of drugs in flagrant violation of the law and all international conventions.

Berisha emphasized that in the election year, Edi Rama surrounded Albania on all four sides, and in depth, with drug plantations, the value of which is colossal if we consider that tens of millions of cannabis roots can be planted in 28 thousand hectares, which are worth at least 10 billion euros.

"In the electoral farce of May 11, 2025, the head of the criminal organization of the Albanian narco-state, Edi Rama, used all means, including licenses to plant 29,300 hectares of drugs in flagrant violation of the law and all international conventions.

The law approved by the government allows, authorizes the planting of 200 hectares nationwide.

But in the election year, this area multiplied dozens of times, hundreds of times.

So, in the election year, Edi Rama surrounded Albania on all four sides, and in depth, with drug plantations, the value of which is colossal if we consider that tens of millions of cannabis roots can be planted on 28 thousand hectares, which are worth at least 10 billion euros.
