The former president, Bamir Topi, has stated categorically that he would never support Sali Berisha.
In an interview with us 24 he said that Berisha together with Rama destroyed the internal democracy in Albania.
He even states that in a pure majority the country can turn to monism.
"I would never support Berisha. It's not personal. I have known to Berisha together with Edi Rama the destruction of the internal democracies in Albania, they are the authors of the theft of votes. The person most disinterested in changing the system today is not Rama, the person most disinterested in changing the system is Berisha. I am afraid that in a pure majoritarian this country may turn into monism. Only the change of the political system can bring rotation. That's why I recently encouraged Mr. Basha who has started to articulate the change of the political system," said Bamir Topi./ CNA
