Tomorrow the 26th protest of the opposition/ The resignation of the mayor of Tirana is demanded

On Friday, September 19, the next protest of the opposition and the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater will take place in front of the municipality of Tirana.

Citizens are expected to gather at around 11:00 in front of the Tirana town hall, who constantly demand the resignation of Erion Veliaj due to the "5D" file related to the arrest of the directors and after the scandal with the incinerator affair.

This is the 26th protest of the opposition, which points the finger at the injustices and corruption committed by Erion Veliaj.

Tensions and clashes with the police have not been missing in recent protests, as protesters have tried to get inside the town hall building.

Members of the opposition in the Municipal Council of Tirana have not been allowed to enter the institution of the municipality.

Citizens have warned that the protests will not stop until Veliaj leaves the municipality./ CNA
