The death of Gerti Bogdani as a result of a cardiac arrest, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha gave a speech in honor of the former deputy of the Democratic Party, where he once again expressed his condolences.

Chief Democrat Berisha said that Albanian politics and society has suffered a great loss.

"It was characterized by the harmony of the soul, thank you very much for what you have done for the Democratic Party, for your generation and for Tirana. Gerti Bogdani finished his studies with excellent results and was an example for all of us."

Tearful during his speech, Berisha said goodbye to the former deputy of the Democratic Party, Gerti Bogdan, who passed away this Wednesday at the age of 44.

Tonight we gather here in mourning and deep pain.

Shocked because today we all lost one of us.

One of the prominent leaders of the DP, whom we loved, respected and valued as a rare, noble friend, who gave honor to all of us.

Yes, for Gerti Bogdani suddenly and prematurely, at the most beautiful age, at the peak of the man's youth, strength and prudence, the sun set today forever.

Dear Gerti, you left us and you will be greatly missed not only by your children, your dear wife, your beloved parents, but surely like no one else by all those who knew you, who worked with you, those that you have directed or that have been lucky and enjoyed your friendship.

Gerti, you're gone, but you, from early childhood to today, made your family, their parents, your wife, your children, your peers at school, your tyrants, your generation, the democrats and democrats, thousands and thousands of young people you led with talent and passion for the DP.

All those Albanians or foreign friends who worked with you, in Gerti Bogdani schools, in Tirana or New York, you were the first among the first and you were awarded with gold medals.

But more golden than anything else, you had that harmony that the great God rarely gives to man, the harmony between appearance and soul.

You had nobility, civility, honesty, prudence, which made you an exemplary son, an incomparable parent and husband, citizen, friend and companion.

Beloved leader of the democratic youth, government, deputy and dedicated and dignified representative of the citizens of Tirana.

Gerti Bogdani was one of the young politicians who devoted the best years of his life to democrats, citizens and Albania.

He was a brilliant representative of the new generation, a true patriot who, among many, many opportunities, chose to help Albania.
