Separation of the Laws Committee and the Committee for Civic Initiatives/ Balla:

The head of the SP group, Taulant Balla, stated that the separation of the Laws Committee and the Committee on Civic Initiatives was done so that the Assembly would have two eyes to see the reports made to this institution by other institutions.

"I explained to the opposition leaders' conference that those who fight for more space don't last more than two hours and leave. The Assembly has approved changes to Article 19. For the first time, we have established a commission for civic initiatives.

I would like to invite all citizens that the Assembly has an opportunity, a door and an address where every citizen who has a problem with a certain institution, has an issue to raise, now they have a door where every initiative can be filed and will be followed with care and priority. The Assembly has given the task to the committee to monitor and the resolutions.

Finally, we have a committee so that resolutions are not just pieces of paper that are approved and it is not known what will happen, but we have a committee that will follow this process.

Personally, as the group leader in 3 legislatures, I can say that the history of reporting in the assembly leaves much to be desired. I hope that the new legislature will start a new approach.

I'm not saying that the laws committee hasn't done its job, but it's better to look at this with two eyes. We've given the assembly two eyes to look at this issue.

"We will start thinking about a new approach, one of the leaders of the opposition groups has been positive about the proposal to revise the reporting method, articles 102-103 need to be revised to make reporting more complete," said Balla./ CNA
