Motions with debate/ Majority and opposition fail to find consensus

Under the leadership of the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, the meeting of the Conference of Speakers was held today.

The meeting reviewed the request of the Chairman of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, for the development of a "motion with debate on the announced priorities of the government in its political program, as well as the interference of organized crime in the public life of the country."

The Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, announced during the meeting that a request has also been filed by a group of deputies of the Democratic Party, for a motion with debate with the ultimate goal of adopting a resolution for the recognition of the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.

After discussions, the heads of the parliamentary groups did not agree on the development of the motions. Both issues were referred to the plenary session./ CNA
