Non-compensation for oil/ Berisha: Rama shamelessly deceives farmers

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a conversation with farmers in Berat this afternoon.

In his speech, Berisha focused on the problems created especially during the last few weeks, when the impact of the conflict in the Middle East was also accompanied by economic consequences, due to the increase in oil prices, which also affected Albania.

While addressing the area's farmers, Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of deceiving this category by not compensating them for their oil, just as happens in other European countries.

"I came with a deep sense of revolt in my soul, because just 5 days ago, the one who deserves every epithet, but we don't mince words, was telling farmers in Lushnja that oil is no longer subsidized in Europe. At a time when absolutely, there is no country in Europe that doesn't do it. He speaks like this to farmers who live by their sweat, work, wake up at 5 in the morning and end their working day on Monday. And this prime minister goes and deceives in the most shameless way", - declared Berisha./CNA
