"My close friend"/ Mazniku on Veliaj's arrest: SP had a clear

The political leader of the Socialist Party for Elbasan, Arbjan Mazniku, spoke in a television appearance about his relationship with the arrested mayor, Erion Veliaj.

Mazniku said that Veliaj is a close friend of his and said that he misses him.

Regarding the mayor's arrest, Mazniku said that the SP's position is clear and Rama has been exhaustively expressed on this case.

"The Prime Minister is the political leader of Tirana. Without a doubt, Erion is a close friend of mine and I miss him. We are not allowed to communicate. He is doing well and fighting his own battle. I believe that it is an issue that the Prime Minister has expressed exhaustively and I have nothing to add or take away from the position of the Socialist Party. It is a balanced and clear position. I have nothing to add, neither more nor less.

I am a friend of Erion, but it is an irrelevant issue. We deserve that justice will follow the cases to the end. We must leave it to justice and not create insinuations. There has been an impact, but we are focused on the elections.
