From the village of Rehova in Kolonjë, the political leader of the Socialist Party for the Korça region, Niko Peleshi, has sought broad support for the May 11 elections, considering this process as crucial for the successful completion of Albania's European dream.

" The vote for the Socialist Party and for Edi Rama on May 11 will ultimately determine the fate of Albania on its European path ," Peleshi said to the residents of the area.

He praised the historical contribution of Cologne in this regard, recalling the Renaissance figures who oriented the country towards the West a century and a half ago.

" In the mandate where Albania will join the European Union, there is no greater pleasure for me than to be with you on this journey, as a representative, as a deputy, as a district leader. Kolonja is an area with rich traditions, which has given the country many Renaissance people, who determined a century and a half ago that Albania's path would be the European path ," said Peleshi.

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, he emphasized that the May 11 elections are the moment to choose between progress and regression and that the only alternative forward is number 5, votes for Edi Rama and the Socialist Party./ CNA
