"Farmers will vote en masse on May 11"/ Berisha: Rama offers the worst

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting today with producers of medicinal plants. In his speech, Berisha stated that this sector has been ignored.

Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of offering the worst alternative a person can offer for the agricultural sector.

Berisha said that on May 11, Albanian farmers will be massive in their vote for the great farm, for great agriculture, for Albania.

"So, with all of this, I wanted to assure you that from an ignored sector, but it's not just you, it's agriculture as a whole, and what alternative does Edi Rama offer?"

You heard it yourself, the alternative of a farmer who says that his produce is rotting, he couldn't sell it, that his farm went bankrupt, but I will vote for you. No, this is with voice and image.

So, Edi Rama offers the worst alternative a human being can offer. He offers the brainwashing of humanity, which constitutes the greatest human disaster.

A moment that we who have gone through the communist dictatorship know what it means. We still remember when we tore down the statue of Enver Hoxha, the worst dictator of all time, but hundreds of thousands were found to put the statue back up. But that was brainwashing and it should never happen.

Edi Rama's alternative for farmers, for agriculture, was this: vote for me, despite the bankruptcy, despite the ignorance, despite the punishment I have given you.

That Edi Rama punished agricultural and livestock production with the Open Balkans. He opened the borders, as no country in the world does, he did it like a hired hand of Vu?i?, while his master finances farmers throughout Serbia 8 times more than Edi Rama.

Then let's have a race, me 1, you 8. What kind of race can you have here? There is no race here.

So farmers went bankrupt. Input prices increased.

Myzeqeja had 35,000 purebred cows, and he slaughtered half of them because a bale of hay became much more expensive than a kilo of milk.

And he took it and opened the border, made the law, voted the law to import powdered milk without taxes. Can you imagine a person doing that? Is there a more destructive act for milk producers in Albania? And now Albanians buy cheese made with powdered milk.

But he bases his entire attitude towards farmers on brainwashing, my produce is rotten, I threw it in the canal, but I will still vote for you. It's fine if you vote, but you have a responsibility for your children, you have a responsibility for your grandchildren, you have a responsibility for the community where you live.

When you see that people are fleeing because they have nothing to do, just because you're ruining the production, how can you promise to vote for a man like that.

Once again, I say to that honorable, unfortunate farmer, that you have never heard him say potatoes, apples or grosh alone. No and no, cannabis, cannabis and only cannabis.

What does that have to do with you, how can it be? Normally, a man who lives with honor, with his work, as farmers do, cannot have a more ferocious enemy than this man.

"I have great confidence that on May 11, Albanian farmers will be massive in their vote for the great farm, for the great agriculture, for Albania," Berisha said. /CNA
