Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, in a debate with the head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group Taulant Balla, reminded leftists of February 12 when the SPAK premises were surrounded by supporters of former Tirana mayor Erion Veliaj after he was imprisoned by the GJKKO.

Këlliçi said that the prosecutors were surrounded on the orders of Prime Minister Rama and Erion Veliaj.

"  Since the blackmail against the justice organs was mentioned here, which while staying inside the premises of the GJKKO, by order of him and the Prime Minister, was surrounded as never before on February 12 of this year, the premises of the Special Court were threatened by employees of the Tirana Municipality, the Special Prosecution Office and the Special Court requested assistance from the Guard of the Republic and the State Police and never received a response.
