Berisha's mandate/Majority: Removing immunity is Berisha's wish

The General Secretary of the SP, Bledi Çuçi, stated today at the meeting of the Council of Mandates that every request for the removal of immunity, whether for the left or right wing, will be voted on.

Çuçi emphasizes that this was also a wish of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who has stated his position. It further underlines that SPAK did not come to this decision with political accusations.

"We will vote on any request for the removal of immunity.

For every deputy, whether left- or right-handed, or without an arm. This is a public position where I have reinforced my position. I have said the second because it is Mr. Berisha's desire to be without immunity, who has consistently stated his position. We will vote to remove the immunity requested by the Court or the Prosecutor's Office.

The third is because we have publicly stated that we have faith in the new justice system. Today we have a completely different reality of the state of the justice system.

Today SPAK is the most accepted institution by the citizens. We do not believe that SPAK comes with political accusations.
