Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with women in the city of Roskovec on Tuesday. In this meeting, Rama focused on developments regarding the May 11 elections. 

Rama began his speech with an irony, involving Lulzim Basha and the current leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha. Rama's irony was related to the rumored amount of the Democratic Party's lobbying contract in the US.

"Luli said 7x7? 42, now the owl came out 7x7?6 million," said Rama. 

In his speech, Rama also focused on the Albanian economy. Regarding economic changes and the debt situation, Rama said that bad loans have decreased and public debt has decreased.

Rama said that the goal now is for the minimum wage to be 650 euros.

"We inherited more than 700 million euros in debt and today we have no debt to any company and we have reduced the debt. 25 percent bad loans is a red light. The pyramids of Sude and Xhafer would have been repeated again today if in 2023 the Albanians had not decided to give us their trust by voting. Our goal is for the minimum wage in Albania to be 650 euros. The average wage was 322 euros and the public sector affected this and today it is 848 euros, the average wage, 2.6 times higher. In the public sector for teachers, nurses and doctors, they had 372 euros and today the average is 1 thousand euros and it will go to 1200 euros", said Rama./CNA
