Gender Equality Law/ Boçi Accuses: You Forged the Minutes, Some DP MPs

Democratic Party MP, Luciano Boçi, in today's plenary session, focused on the approval of the draft law on gender equality.

Boçi accused the majority of falsifying the minutes, as some DP deputies were marked as not having voted, while according to the democrat they were not present in the hall.

This is something that was done on purpose, according to Boçi.

"In the approval of the gender equality law, the minutes are falsified because 36 deputies from the DP were present. We voted in unison against it. You are providing falsified documents. Zoinja Topalli was not present, you have noted that she did not vote. Gaz Bardhi was excluded, you have noted that she did not vote. This is not a coincidence, it is intentional. I do not know how many times this story has happened in laws with high public sensitivity. We were in unison against this law," said Boçi.

The Democratic MP further focused on the expulsion of the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, from the Parliament for 10 days.

Boçi said that none of Berisha's statements exceeded ethics and he was expelled for his statements outside the Assembly.

The Democrat ironized the majority, asking whether opposition MPs will be expelled after yesterday's statements against Marta Kos.

" I did not see a single word from Mr. Berisha that exceeded ethics. You expelled him for a statement outside Parliament. Yesterday we held positions against Mrs. Kos, will you expel us today? Because you have cut off free speech ," the MP said.
