MP leaves SPAK/Bylykbashi for "January 21": I have not been to Albania

Democratic Party MP, Oerd Bylykbashi, spoke to the media after his exit from SPAK.

Bylykbashi announced that he has been summoned by the Special Prosecution Office as a person in the know regarding the denunciation made by the DP regarding the Eco Park affair.

Referring to the statement of the head of SPAK to the parliamentary committee, Bylykbashi said that the investigation is nearing completion and cannot provide more details.

Asked about the issue of "January 21st", whether there was a subpoena, Bylykbashi stated that he was not in Albania at all that day.

 

" Today I was here in the capacity of a complainant in connection with the Eco Park affair. It is a complaint filed in March 2024 and is part of a proceeding initiated primarily by SPAK. I have been summoned in the capacity of a person with knowledge.

Starting with Rama, the report is public. It is a pure corrupt affair. A company directly linked to the incinerator company, Integrated Energy. Based on that denouncing material that we analyzed, we made the report.

Dumani said in the committee that the investigation is complete, I can't say more. I respect the secrecy of the investigative actions. The report is from the deputies of the DP parliamentary group.

"I have no invitation for January 21, I was not in Albania that day, but anyway, this is not the issue ," declared Bylykbashi.
