"The reunification of Europe brings prosperity"/ Rama: Albania will

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech during the Enlargement Forum in Brussels, stated that despite the differences between Albanian citizens and European Union citizens, they are 100% supporters of the European Union.

Rama said that Albania should be part of the EU because it will bring to the round table innovation, resources, position, wealth, assets, energy and a big smile on the gloomy face of the EU. Prime Minister Rama said that the enlargement of Europe is reunification.

 

"Albanians are 100% supporters of the EU despite the problems. EU citizens have grown up on soft pillows where even the purring of a cat is regulated."

An ideological iron curtain separated us and the beast of totalitarianism taught us that the violation of peace was near. We Albanians did not need Putin's cries at the doors of the EU, nor could we call totalitarianism much more than the one we broke away from by shouting that we love Albania like all of Europe.

No one has built anything like this before, so we want to be part of it, so Albanians will do everything to achieve it. Not long ago, the word EU smelled of betrayal. What is the EU?

Reunification heals historical wounds, restores the identity of those who were violently separated

Reunification expands the area of ??peace because reunification expands democracy and stability. Europe will be safer when it does not have only two borders.

Reunification for peoples like the Baltic countries and Poland is a beacon. Imagine these countries outside the EU.

Reunification brings prosperity because enlargement brings innovation, resources, position, wealth, assets, energy, and a big smile on the EU's gloomy face.

Every time the EU expands it works.

We need an answer for all those who say that the EU will not work, it works if we do not veto and commissioners.

The planet rotates in one direction, but the world does not. Acting on illusions increases the risk, demagoguery is a danger, clouds are gathering, speculation is growing.

A united Europe is a Europe that decides its own destiny, not one that rides the storm raised by others.

Reunification is not a favor that the old do to the young, but a shared destiny.

Sometimes I have to answer the question why the EU should have Albania at the round table?

Albania brings to the table the great spirit of the past of Europe and is a precious stone in this crown. We are committed and will not stop, we feel the responsibility towards the EU day by day.

When Balkan men take the floor, they say they will close it but they don't, but I'm giving Marta some advice: While she writes history with us, she should write a book titled Anthology and I will write the chapter on Albania.
