Many names that emerged as winners in the Primary Election have been left off the DP's final list.

Invited to the show "Opinion", the Secretary General of the Democratic Party said that this happened because of the allies.

According to him, the agreement with the allies made it impossible to include them on the closed list.

"The primaries have been one of the pillars on which the selection of candidates on the coalition list has been based. On this list, out of 140 candidates for MPs, 111 of them came from the primaries.

In the case of Tirana, there is a specific feature, there is a decision of the National Council that appoints the political leaders of the regions and the national campaign. This team, by decision of the National Council, is named the team of political leaders.

There is no loss for the DP from compiling the lists. It is not simply our obligation, but an agreement with the allies that has made it impossible for some of the personalities of this party or even the winners of the primaries to be on closed lists. We are not here for the lists. We are now facing such a situation: Either we will all unite to defeat Edi Rama, or Albania is in danger.

Regarding the non-inclusion of the DP spokesperson, Florjana Garo, in any list, Flamur Noka gave this response:

"The spokesperson of the Democratic Party is one of the main figures of this party. I personally have extraordinary appreciation because her political and human qualities are to be admired. But since Ms. Garo in the Durrës district did not achieve what she claimed in the primaries, she decided not to be involved in this process. It is her choice."/ CNA
