Rama-Basha Pact/ Names linked to "January 21" appear on the list for

The Socialist Party a day ago presented the candidates for SP MPs on the open and closed list for all districts.

What stands out from both the SP and the DP lists is that there are political figures who are under investigation by SPAK, but also figures who are connected to tragic events like the one on January 21, where 4 people remained victims on the Boulevard.

Let's take the case of Agron Malaj. The latter resigned from his position as mayor to run for deputy with the Socialist Party.

SP Secretary General Blendi Klosi announced that Agron Malaj will be the SP candidate on the open list in the Dibra district.

Malaj is not an unknown name.

Agron Malaj was the section commander of the Special Unit of the Republic Guard during the January 21 protest. He was one of the 10 officers dismissed by former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri, as soon as the latter took office.

The 10 officers were members of the "fire squad" who fired on protesters at the rally, leaving four citizens dead.

In addition, Agron Malaj is also associated with 5D.

Agron Malaj's brother, Fatos Malaj, has won the tender for cameras in the Municipality of Tirana, the amounts of which are hundreds of millions of lek, as there are denunciations of cases where he has provided funds to the prison directors of Mayor Veliaj.

The same scheme seems to have been used by Lulzim Basha in selecting his candidates.

Having selected neither more nor less than Alfred Ahmetcenaj, also a former commander of the special unit of the Republic Guard, part of the firing squad on January 21, 2011, who is the official candidate for deputy in Tirana for the Euro-Atlantic Coalition.

Ahmetcenaj was the former number two of the Guard when 4 protesters were killed on the boulevard.

He managed to escape justice and found the support of Lulzim Basha, making him the head of the branch in Mat at that time.

After the opening of the "January 21" investigation, another wiretap was discovered, featuring the former commander of the Guard, Ndrea Prendi, and Alfred Ahmetcenaj. The former warns them to open fire, while the latter confirms it.

Having this scheme in mind, all of this looks like a "pact" between Rama and Basha, who are including in the lists of candidates for MPs characters who are connected to one of the tragic events in the country for which justice has not yet been done.
