"The tumor that holds Albanian politics hostage"/ Sula attacks Rama

Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula said today that Edi Rama and Sali Berisha are like a tumor holding Albanian politics hostage.

In his speech in the Assembly, during today's parliamentary session, Sula attacked the two leaders of the largest parties in the country, Edi Rama and Sali Berisha, for making shady deals and personal interests that, according to him, have damaged the country's development over the last three decades.

Sula focused on two events, the agreement of April 21, 2008, and the tragedy of Gërdec, which he described as a key moment in the degradation of Albanian politics.

"Seeing this empty hall, a government that is missing. With only 2 cabinet members back here, it is sad. There is an evil, a source, a tumor that holds Albanian politics hostage. This tumor is Edi Rama and Sali Berisha. Two men who have made dark agreements over these 34 years for personal, totally personal interests.

I'm not saying today that I left the DP. I have denounced this agreement before. When we rejected it in the plenary sessions, I was totally against an agreement between the DP and the SP.
